Misty Dawn Saison is one of those brews that has quite a history here at CMBC. It started off as Cape May Saison, and the name change came thanks to an updated recipe born from our very first homebrew Brew Crew contest.

It’s a tenured part of our roster here, and we’re always excited to bring it back on tap! If you haven’t heard of this one yet, here’s the details:

The Misty Dawn sails again! Named for Mop Man's 46-foot fishing boat that sank off the coast of Cape May, we've brought back our beloved Misty Dawn Saison from the bottom of the ocean. Brewed with New Jersey-grown and malted grain from our friends at Rabbit Hill, Misty Dawn uses their Farmhouse Pilsner and ample amounts of red wheat. Paired with an expressive Belgian yeast strain and hefty additions of Saaz and Hallertau Blanc, Misty Dawn Saison is an effervescent and unique beer with notes of grapefruit zest, earthiness, and a dry, spicy finish.

Misty Dawn Saison is on tap in our Tasting Room starting today, Friday, February 25th. You can even grab growler fills to go! While you can preorder your fill online, we recommend picking it up like you would a food order—promptly after purchasing!
