Join us on from Thursday, December 21st through Saturday, December 23rd for a holiday-themed Trivia Night, the grand finale of our Holiday Food and Good Drive, our Happy Hula-Days Party with Christmas Carol-oke, contests, and a special holiday flight, and last-minute shopping in the Brewtique. We'll be closed on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, so join in up on our fun festivities and stock up on brews and gifts for the beer lovers in your life.

Thursday 12/21
Holiday Themed Trivia

Join us on Thursday, December 21st for a holiday-themed Thursday Night Trivia in the Tasting Room!

Since this is the last night of our Holiday Food and Good Drive, so while we normally award five extra points if you bring in five items for the drive, this week we will be awarding up to TEN extra points if your team brings in ten items for the drive. Donated items must be brought to the host table prior to the start of the game; max ten extra points per team.

As a reminder, our trivia rules are as follows:

• Teams may have up to 6 players. Teams with more than 6 players will be deducted 10 points for each player exceeding the limit. For example, a team with 8 players will have 20 points deducted from their final score.

• No cheating! No outside help (internet, phone, etc.) of any kind. If you are caught, your team will be disqualified.

• Each game consists of 7 rounds of 10 questions - each round is worth 20 points unless otherwise noted. After 7 rounds, there will be a Final Trivia round where each team may wager up to 20 points on a single question.

• Each team may pick a bonus category for which they will be awarded double points.

• In the event of a tie, a tie-breaker question will decide the winner. In the unlikely event that the ties teams each answer the questions correctly, the winner shall be the team that hands in the correct answer the quickest.

Happy Hula-Days Party

‘Tis the season to be tropical! This year, we’re channeling warmer weather and embracing our tradition of Floral Fridays in the Tasting Room to bring you a luau-themed celebration during our Happy Hula-days Party on Friday, December 22nd. Get ready for a day of festive brews, fun activities, Christmas Carol-oke, and more! Read more for a full lineup of activities:

12pm: Tasting Room Opens

4pm: Christmas Carol-oke

• ‘Tis the season to karaoke, fa la la la la, la la la la! Warm up your vocals because DJ Treasure (aka Jenna Tesauro) will be hosting Christmas Carol-oke from 4-8pm. Grab your friends, choose your favorite holiday tunes, and showcase your vocals at the brewery!

5pm: Limbo Contest

• How low can you go? We’ll find out at 5pm during our limbo contest! The winner will take home a custom Cape May Brewing Company floral shirt – perfect for all your future Floral Fridays at the brewery.

6pm: Hula Hoop Contest

• Start practicing now! The hula hoop contest kicks off at 6pm. The winner of this contest will also take home a custom Cape May Brewing Company floral shirt – perfect for all your future Floral Fridays at the brewery.

7pm: Reading of ‘Twas the Night Beerfore Christmas

• Join in the merriment as the brewery team shares this beer-infused twist on a classic tale in front of the Kegmas tree starting at 7pm.

7:45pm: Last Call at the Bar

Holiday Flight

Indulge in a special holiday flight featuring a selection of festive brews:

• Merry & Brite: Merry & Brite is a classic, amber-leaning West Coast-style IPA brewed for celebrating the holiday season. Hopped with Centennial, Cascade, and Chinook, which make up our classic IPA, Merry & Brite also boasts a delicate malt base, giving this distinctive brew a clean, balanced profile to complement your holiday festivities.

• Limoncello Shandy: When life hands us lemons, we make Limoncello Shandy. Inspired by the sunshine-colored liqueur, our take on this classic Italian drink is zippy, zesty, sweet, and tart. Lightly hopped and brewed with lemon peel, this refreshing brew is perfect for sharing with family and friends.

• The Bog: What happens when you make a Cranberry Wheat and accidentally add too much cranberry? Embrace it and turn it into a Shandy! A tart cranberry wheat beer blended with lemonade, The Bog is vibrant and refreshing while still packing tons of flavor.

• Coquito: Coquito is our rum barrel-aged Imperial Cream Ale inspired by the traditional Puerto Rican Christmas drink. After extended aging in freshly-dumped rum barrels, vanillins extracted from the wood are complemented by a delicate addition of lactose on the hot side and additions of cinnamon, Madagascar vanilla beans, along with the perfect balance of coconut notes. Equally delicious around a roaring fire or on the sunny beaches of San Juan, Coquito is perfect for gathering with friends and family for holiday cheer.

Photo Ops & Dress Code

While dressing for the theme is optional, we would like to encourage you to break out your most vibrant and festive floral shirts to celebrate this Festive Floral Friday! The Tasting Room will be transformed into a tropical paradise that blends holiday cheer and island vibes. Don’t worry about bringing your own lei – there will be one waiting for you at the door to kickstart the fun! Once you’re inside, we’ll have some fun photo opportunities that fit the theme. Stay tuned for more information as the date gets closer.

Last-Minute Shopping

As a reminder, the brewery will be closed on Sunday, December 24 (Christmas Eve) and Monday, December 25 (Christmas Day). We will be open on Saturday, December 23, but if you are at the brewery for the Happy Hula-days Party, make sure to do your last-minute shopping in the Brewtique!
