Hazy Dawn won a Bronze Medal!
We're excited to announce that our newest year-round Double IPA, Hazy Dawn, has won the Bronze Medal in the Imperial IPA category at the 2024 U.S. Beer Open Championship!
This year's competition had over 9,000 beer entries representing more than 170 different styles and we're so excited to be among so many other great breweries who won this year.
Hazy Dawn symbolizes new beginnings and opportunities, making this award even more special. If you have not had the chance to try Hazy Dawn yet, this beer boasts a full mouthfeel thanks to the use of Golden Promise malt with a blend of Motueka and Simcoe hops providing a delightful medley of tropical fruit flavors. It has a subtle hint of pine from the hops, resulting in a perfectly hazy brew that delivers an exciting zest of flavor.
This isn't our first time winning a medal at the U.S. Beer Open Championship. In 2022, our Mexican-Style Lager, Tan Limes, also earned a Bronze Medal in the Australasian, Latin American, Or Tropical-Style Light Lager category. Tan Limes, brewed with a touch of locally-sourced sea salt and a hint of Persian lime juice, is fresh, zesty, and a perfect companion for street tacos, brilliant sunshine, and close friends. It's a beer that embodies the spirit of relaxation and good times, and we're happy Hazy Dawn is able to join the winners lineup next to this refreshing brew.
Fans of Hazy Dawn and Tan Limes can find these award-winning beers at retailers now. Hazy Dawn is available year-round in the Cape May IPA Variety Pack and 6-packs and Tan Limes can be enjoyed in 6-packs. You can find both of these beers using our Beer Finder on our website to locate Cape May retailers in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Delaware. You can also find these brews on draft and in cans to-go when you visit the brewery.
Winning these medals is a testament to our dedication to crafting exceptional beers that push the boundaries of flavor and quality. We are incredibly proud of our team and the passion they bring to every batch. Here's to more new award-winning beers and exciting flavors on the horizon. Cheers!
