It’s a great time to be a sour lover. Not only did we bring back Key Lime Corrosion, our Sour Hazy IPA, the other week, but last week saw the return of fellow fan-favorite Peach Ring Sour.

This week is no exception! While we don’t have a can release per se, with Misty Dawn Saison hitting our taps this week, we knew it was the perfect time to bring out our 500ml Sour Brown Ale bottles!

Avid blog readers might remember that we kinda sorta hinted at more sours in your future back in May when we spoke to our Lab team, and we can’t wait to share this with you all!

When our house Belgian yeast accidentally met our Märzen-style Lager, the combination was too good to pass up. This Sour Brown Ale is a happy accident years in the making, finishing its time in Cognac barrels and pitched with a blend of funky, expressive souring elements. This brew is sharp, with an acidity and soft carbonation that lets the underlying malts shine, and a note of funk to balance out the profile - a marvel of what mixed fermentation can offer.
